Beets Pachadi

Pachadi or Raitha recipe with Beetroot is so simple to make. 

Preparation:
  • In a pan, add grated beetroot and water as desired to cook the beetroot (cooking time should take from 10 - 15 mins)
  • Grind below ingredients to a coarse paste (without adding water)
    • 1 - 2 tsp of shredded coconut
    • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1 - 2 green chilli  (based on spice level)
  • In a separate serving bowl, whisk thick curd and add in cooked beetroot + ground paste + salt -> mix well
  • Give a final tempering with oil + mustard seeds + few cumin seeds + curry leaves + asafoetida.
